Close by are the seven golden bays, which are dotted along this coast, offering surfing or just a relaxing family beach holiday.

 

Padstow, with its array of shops, pubs and restaurants, including Rick Stein’s famous fish restaurant is a short drive away. Boat trips from the harbour can be taken across to Rock or the Camel Trail can be enjoyed, which leads to Bodmin Moor and offers cycling, walking and horse riding along the Camel Estuary, and which is abundant in wildlife.

 

Newquay is just down the coast where guests will find the famous surfing beach at Fistral, as well as the zoo and Blue Reef Aquarium, and a number of family-friendly beaches. Horse riding, golf, cycling, swimming and sailing are all available in the area.
